THE ROUND TABLE “POSSIBILITIES FOR COOPERATION ON VISA AND CONSULAR ISSUES IN TEH DANUBE REGION” STARTED

 

On 9-10 June 2015 Bulgaria is hosting Round table on the possibilities for cooperation on visa and consular issues between the EUSDR countries. The event is taking place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Round Table is carried out in the framework of key objective III: “System of border control and document inspection management” of Priority Area 11 “Security”.

In the official opening the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs – Ambassador Katya Todorova stated that “Bulgaria considers this roundtable as an opportunity to exchange new ideas and practices in the field of consular and visa activities”.

The Round Table aims at taking stock of the achievements in cooperation on consular and visa issues, to identify present challenges and the ways to adequately address them and to shape new areas and set targets of our future interaction.
