XXI meeting of the SG of EUSDR PA 11

The XXI meeting of the SG of PA 11 took part on 14th of July as an on-line event. The meeting was chaired by PAC from Bavaria.

The following EUSDR countries participated: PAC from the Federal Ministry of Interior of Germany, PAC from the Ministry of Interior of the Free State of Bavaria, representative of the PAC from the Ministry of Interior of Bulgaria, Austria, Baden-Wuerttemberg (Federal Republic of Germany), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Republic of Slovakia, Serbia, Romania and Ukraine. The representative of Montenegro could not attend due to the fact that it was a public holiday in their country. The meeting was also attended by the Technical Coordinator of EUSDR PA11 for the cooperation with PA 1a Waterland mobility as well as PA 11 partners and stakeholders, namely: a Representative of DG REGIO, EU Commission; the EUSDR National Coordinator of Bavaria, a representative from SELEC, a representative from the PAC of PA 1a from Austria and the DSP pillar officer.

The SG meeting was opened by Mr. Michael Schwald Chief of the Bavarian Police as of March 2022 and a Priority Area Coordinator.

The following topics were dealt with: the further cooperation with PA 1a Waterland Mobility, the activities of the Danube Strategy Point during the first 6 month of 2022 and the way forward; the priorities of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the establishment of the Danube Youth Council, the review of the implementation of the current DTP project and the preparations for the 3rd PAC project under the Danube Region Program.
